Lisbon-Alma Elizabeth Chuck, 92, formerly of West Point, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at 2:20 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic following a short illness.
Born January 17, 1919 in Collinsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Minnie (George) Bergman.
A homemaker, she is survived by her three children: Herbert (Sandy) Chuck of Lisbon, Donna (Gary) Shaw of New Waterford, and Jay (Deborah) Chuck of Lisbon; a sister Ruth DiNardo of West Newton, PA; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her husband Herbert R. (Jay)Chuck whom she married October 1, 1938 died in 1976. Also deceased are her daughter Joyce Butts, sisters Martha Kelly and Margaret Sikorski; and brothers Wilbert, Andrew, William, Raymond, and Edward Bergman.
Lutheran by faith, she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Fayette Grose officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
