Salem-Amanda P. "Mandy" Baker, 96, formerly of Olive Street died at 6:44 PM
Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Salem Community Hospital.
Born June 21, 1912 in Monroe County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late
William O. and Jennifer E. (Howell) Pugh.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Pritchard Avenue Church of Christ in
Lisbon.
She is survived by a sister, Shirley Boals, of Salem as well as numerous nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Baker; 3 brothers, Oscar, Walter,
and Lloyd Pugh, and 3 sisters Delores Albright, Esther Howard, and Thena M. Joy.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Weber Funeral
Home with Mr. Rich Micks officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at
the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
