Anthony Folino Gallo

Anthony F. Gallo, 74, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024 at Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon.

Born October 8th, 1949, he was the son of Thomas and Marjorie Gallo, grandson of the late Laige Walter and Jean Fern (Burton) Chestnut and Antonio F. and Catarina Gallo.

A member of the 1969 David Anderson High School Class, Tony worked for the Columbiana County Highway Department for 31 years, retiring in 2000.

He is survived by his sister Katherine Merrill, his brothers Frank (Vicky) Gallo and Thomas Michael Gallo, his nephew Frank Jr. (Michele) Gallo, his nieces Frances and Amelia Merrill, his cousins Steven and Michael Garafalo, Dian Moore, Cynthia Coppersmith, Matthew Moore, and his friends Gordon Fediaczko, Eugene Gallo, Diane Pickens, Mark Steele, and his neighbor Keith.

Tony lived in this community and loved it his whole life.  He wishes everyone well and is thankful for the time spent with everyone in Lisbon. He wants to say goodbye and show his gratitude to this special place, his home.

No flowers or donations. There will be a small private ceremony with family.
