She was born November 10, 1929 in Salineville to the late Howard and Edna (Madison) Wolfe.
She had worked as the bookkeeper for the family business, Melhorn Dairy, for many years.
Barbara was an active member of United Calvary Presbyterian Church where she served as the organist for many years.
She was a devoted wife to Clarence J. Melhorn, whom she married January 28, 1948 and is also survived by two s sons, Bruce A. (Mary) Melhorn of Ft. Myers, FL and Kevin C. (Becki) Melhorn of Salineville; three grandchildren: Jeff (Elizabeth Hogue) Melhorn, Nathan Melhorn, and Joshua Melhorn, and step-grandsons Jordan D. Smith and Lucian Smith, and a step-great-grandson Jackson D. Smith.
Her son Brian Melhorn Is deceased. Also preceding her in death are her brothers Mark and Vincent Wolfe and sister Isadore Hart.
A private service will be held at today. Burial is in Woodland Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions, if desired, be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 2 Church Street, Salineville, OH 43945.
