Columbiana- Betty T. Jackson, 78, passed away Thursday at her home.
Born January 30, 1939 in South Bend Twp., PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Mildred (George) McElhattan.
She was a homemaker and is survived by her granddaughter Sarah Pagani and her companion Billy Page of Salem; her children Harry I. Jackson, II of Negley and Candace (Mike) Pastore of Lisbon, and her granddaughter-in-law Tracey Harrison of North Carolina. There are four siblings: Helen J. Hankey, Gladys Gillespie, Shirley Woodard, and Robert McElhattan, and 8 great-grandchildren: Samantha Squires, Joe Harrison, Jr., Kody Harrison, Kirstin Harrison, Skylar Harrison, Alex Wise, Airianna Javens, and Samuel Pagani.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry I Jackson, I in 2012 as well as a grandson, Master Sergeant Joseph D. Harrison, a great-grandson, Specialist Timothy Squires, and 6 siblings: William, Thomas, James, and Kenneth McElhattan, Iva Harbour, and Ruth Hankey.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
