Lisbon -Betty Jane Johnson, 85, formerly of Pine Street, died at 3:26 AM Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Vista Center.

Born October 18, 1926 in Lisbon, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Elva (Dicken) Reese.

She worked as a custodian at the County Home and the Columbiana County JVS, retiring in 1987. She had also owned and operated S and B Market in Salem as well as Kring's Trucking Company.

Betty was a member of the Salem First United Methodist Church, Guilford Lake Ruritan Club, and the Lisbon Grange.

Survivors include her children Janet Jury of Salem, Joyce (Sherman) Johnson of Lisbon, Linda (Kevin) Baker of Elkton, Cindy ( Dan) Gentry of Carrollton, Vicky (Curtis) Lillie of Hanoverton, Valerie Rendziniak of Salem, Stephen (Kim) Rendziniak of Lisbon, and Louis Kring of Salem; step-children Stanley (Lee) Rendziniak of Florida and Barbara Taylor of Warren; siblings Elsie Shive and John Reese, both of Lisbon, and Annie Burrier of Salem; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband William George Kring, second husband Stanley Rendziniak, and third husband Roy Johnson; a daughter, Shirley Woodworth; brother Wilbur Chapman, a sister, Ethel Pike, and a grandson, Anthony Taylor.

The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. P. Doug George officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
