Lisbon -Catherine H. Miller, 87, passed away at 9.40 PM Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St, Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana.
Born June 26, 1925 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late Clyde V. and Ethel (Todd) Hadley.
She owned and operated Miller's Sporting Good's store in Lisbon with her late husband for many years.
A member of the First United Methodist Church and Iva Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was a 1943 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School.
Survivors include her children Robert (Gwynne) Miller of Macedonia, Gwen (James) Scullion of Lisbon, Susan (Scott) Simons of Baden, PA, David (Jane) Miller of Woodstock, GA, and Jeffrey (Donna) Miller of Lisbon; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Miller, Jr. whom she married November 18, 1942 as well as her sister Louise M. Heath.
There will be a private service today with Rev. Pamela Gable officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
