West Point -Donald O. Campbell, 74, died at 4:55 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at his home.
He was born September 29, 1934 in East Liverpool to the late Walter P. and Delphia O. (Galloway) Campbell.
He owned and operated Summer Fun Pools and Campbell's Deli in West Point and had taught in the Beaver Local School District for ten years.
A graduate of West Liberty State College, he was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, F.O.E. Aerie 2216, past president and member of Lisbon Lions Club, and past member of the West Point Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dolly Altmeyer, whom he married in 1956, four children: Donna S. Campbell of West Point, Debbie A. (Gary) Fonner of Calcutta, Deena M. (Robbie) Hunt of West Point, and Denny S. Campbell of Orange County, CA; five grandchildren: Doug and Christina Fonner, and Briana, Brett, and Brandi Hunt; and a brother, Warren (Ramona) Campbell of Winter Park, FL.
A granddaughter, Kala Hunt, is deceased.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday (today) at the Weber Funeral Home where there will be services by the Knights of Columbus and the West Point Fire Department at the conclusion of calling hours.
