Lisbon -Donald Edward Walker, 72, formerly of Lisbon died at 12:47 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman.
Born March 15, 1937 in Smithfield, OH, he was a son of the late Edward Oscar and Gail Elizabeth (Craig) Walker.
A maintenance welder, he worked at NRM for 28 years and retired from Specialty Fab in North Lima in 2008.
Surviving are his wife, the former Alma Dietz, whom he married November 21, 1959; his children Timothy (Tami) Walker of Lisbon and Gail M. Walker of Lawrenceburg, IN; a sister, Dorothy Blaisdell of Peoria, AZ,; and a brother, Roger (Sondra) Walker of West Point; grandchildren Laura and Alex Walker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bellomy and his son Jeffrey Walker.
Private services will be held at Lisbon Cemetery at a later date.
