Lisbon -Donna Jean Phillips, 72, of Cream Ridge Road passed away at 1:35 AM Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Parkside Health Care Center.
Born July 26, 1937 in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Samuel M. Stacey, Sr. and Dora L. (Moore) Beabout.
She worked as a bus driver for Beaver Local Schools for more than thirty years and as a grill cook at the Steel Trolley Diner for many years.
A 1956 graduate of East Liverpool High School, she was involved with Beaver Local Junior R.O.T.C. for many years and was grateful for many good memories of that.
Survivors include 3 sons: Blaine Daugherty of Boardman, David (Tiffany) Phillips of Cleveland, and Jerry (Teri) Phillips, Jr. of Lisbon; a sister, Shirley (James) Fersch of East Liverpool; 4 brothers: Samuel Stacey, Jr. of Lisbon, Harry (Cheryl) Stacey of East Palestine, Terry (Debbie) Beabout of East Liverpool, and Ricky Beabout of Lisbon; 10 grandchildren;and special extended family Connie Daugherty and Dan Leverknight and family.
A daughter, Lynn Annette Daugherty, is deceased.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamie Jackson of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Calling hours are Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
