Donna Belle (Weingart, Weikart) Webber, 93, well-known and longtime resident of Lisbon, more recently of Dublin, passed away Monday evening, December 26, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by her children.
She was born April 9, 1923 in Damascus, a daughter of the late Ben and Lura (Yeagley) Weingart.
Donna was a 1941 graduate of Leetonia High School and Salem Business College. After graduating, she worked at Farmer’s National Bank and in later years, with her husband, Charles (Chick) Webber helped to run Webber Plumbing and Heating and Fox’s Pizza Den.
She was a member of New Lisbon Presbyterian Church and its choir. She also sang in the Community Chorus and was a member of Lisbon Historical Society, Iva Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and a lifetime member of VFW Post 4111 Auxiliary. An avid traveler, she especially enjoyed Las Vegas and senior bus trips as well as her many trips over seas.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert M. (Bob) Weikart (1956) and Charles (Chick) Webber (1998) as well as a sister, Evelyn Fisher.
She will be sadly missed by her 5 children: Larry (Teresa) Webber of Getttysburg, PA , Beverly (Paul) Larson of Cape May Court House, NJ, Nadine (Rob) Pike of Dublin, Denise (Wayne) McDevitt of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Charles B. (Sun Hwa) Webber of Lawton, OK; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren,; her sisters-in-law Bernice Roberts and Norma Reedy; 5 nieces and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Douglass officiating. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
