Lisbon - Doris May May, 88, died at 2:47 AM Sunday at Salem Regional Medical Center.
Born March 2, 1926 in Lisbon, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Alda G. (Kyser)
Brooks.
A homemaker, she was a faithful member of the Trinity Evangelical Friends Church, Lisbon Senior Citizens, and Middleton Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting and making crafts. Doris loved life and always had fun with her family.
Survivors include her grandchildren Cynthia (Mike) Hoover of Lisbon, Timothy (Mel) Clark of Elkton, Jeffrey Post of Canton, Angel Post of Lisbon, and Jenny Trucksis of Elkton; 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Smith of Lisbon.
She was preceded in death by husband William H. ”Cricket” May, her sons David and Kevin May, a daughter, Diana Post; and two brothers Dewey J. and Jack Brooks.
There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
