There was a private family service officiated by Tom Jones at the yesterday at the Weber Funeral Home for Dorothy Ann Hofmann, 90, formerly of Lisbon and Salem. She died at The Gardens of the Western Reserve in Cuyahoga Falls on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Born September 3, 1923 in Paden City, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Mary E. (Hall) Fulmer.
She had worked as a nurse’s aide at the County Home and later at Salem Hospital.
She enjoyed bingo and bus trips.
Survivors include her sons Paul D. (Lynn) Hofmann of Salem and Terry R. (Terri) Hofmann of Cuyahoga Falls.
Her husband, Lester R. Hofmann, died in 1988. Also deceased are her brothers Harold, Willard, and Ralph Fulmer.
Burial is in Lisbon Cemetery.
