Alliance -Eleanor K. Hanna, 77, formerly of Lisbon, died at 12:10 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
Born March 16, 1933 in Canfield, OH, she was a daughter of the late Ward L. and Katherine (Stack) Greasel.
A homemaker, she was a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School and a member of the New Baltimore Community Church.
Survivors include four children: Larry A. Greasel of Canton, Wendy Norris of North Canton, James Hanna of Boardman, and Howard Hanna of Alliance; step-children Richard Hanna of North Carolina and Marie Wonner of Leetonia; a sister, Helen Stouffer of Lisbon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband V.L. Shorty Hanna; brothers James and Ward Greasel, Jr.; and a sister, Beatrice Biddle.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Baker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
