New Philadelphia - Elsie Martha Landsberger, 96, formerly o f Lisbon, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Park Village Southside in New Philadelphia, OH.
Born July 24, 1921 in Leetonia, she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl (Good) Padurean.
A homemaker, she was a member of Salem First Baptist Church and its Ladies Missionary Society. Along with her husband, she operated the Lisbon Dairy Queen for many years. She travelled to nearly every state and enjoyed antiques, canning, and keeping house. Her greatest pleasure was taking care of her family.
Survivors include 4 children: Richard Landsberger of Bradenton, FL, Barbara (Gary) Forney of New Philadelphia, Larry (Gladys) Landsberger, and Denise (Larry) Goodman both of Salem. There are 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren as well as her siblings: Winnie Halverstadt, Inez Crihfield, Betty Leininger, Margie Rambo, and Herman Padurean.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Landsberger in 1996, her son Dennis, a sister, Judy Chain, and brother Frank Padurean.
There will be a graveside service at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM Today.
Services have been entrusted to the Weber Funeral Home.
