Lisbon - Evelyn Lucille Smith, 95, passed away at 4:05 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2015.at the Vista Center in Lisbon where she had lived for the past year.
Evelyn was born November 2, 1919 in Lisbon, the son of the late William D. and Alda Georgeanane (Kyser) Brooks.
A homemaker, she will be lovingly remembered by her children Linda Myers of Lisbon, and Ronald Harley of Ste. Nacoochee, GA as well as her six grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her first husband Thomas Harley, whom she married September 4, 1937 and died May 19, 1986 and second husband Gilmer Smith, whom she married August 26, 1988 and died June 20, 1995, her daughter Carol Johnston, and brothers Jack and Dewey Brooks and a sister Doris May.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Vel Vais of Glenmoor Presbyterian Church officiating; burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Calling hours are one hour prior to the service.
