Salem -Everett L. Finley, 83, passed away at 10:03 PM Friday, Agust 6, 2010 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Born June 26, 1927 in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late William H. and Eunice (Cehrs) Finley.
He had worked as a welder for Dade County, Florida for 21 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a WW II veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include seven children: Tom (Charlene) Finley of Silver Springs, OK, Sandy (David) Sohn of Selmer, TN, Linda Moore of Miami, FL, Carol Ann (John) Owen of Miami, FL, William H. Finley of Salem, Stephen (Lisa) Finley of Salem, and Everett A. Finley of Salem; 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death in 2009 by his wife , Norma Ruth (Whippler) Finley whom he married April 25, 1954. Also deceased is a sister, Jean Finley.
Calling hours will be observed from 6 to 9 PM Monday at the Weber Funeral Home, Lisbon. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday at Crossroad Ministries, 1901 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem, OH.
