Ferrell Ray Carnes

Hanoverton-      Ferrell Ray Carnes died quietly, surrounded by loved ones Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Ray was born March 26, 1933 and was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Arzona Carnes.

He leaves his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce (Anderson) Carnes; two sons: Nathan and Neal Carnes, two daughters:  Rebecca (Mark) Barnes and Rhea (Geoffrey) Burke; his beloved grandchildren: Shylo, Yvonne, Jeffery, Vanessa, and Iris, Brenna, Gavin, and Logan; as well as five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 2 sisters.

Arrangements are by the Weber Funeral Home of Lisbon. There will be a graveside service officiated by Pastor Thomas Allmon at 1:00 PM Saturday at Woodsdale Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service  at the cemetery
