Gary was born October 30, 1956 in East Liverpool, a son of the late William H. and Beatrice (Clark) Thornhill.
He worked at the Shale Restaurant and previously at Walmart and Blackhawk
Survivors include his wife, Patricia E. (Davner) Thornhill whom he married May 5, 1979; two children, Mandi (Shawn) Hoff of New Waterford and Marissa Thornhill of Alliance; three brothers, William and Timothy, both of Lisbon, and Mark of Calcutta as well as his granddaughters Madison Duke and Ashley Hoff and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Thornhill and a sister, Mary Jane Murphy.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Phi Bartholomew of Second Shift Community Fellowship officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
