Geneva Brown

Lisbon -Geneva Brown, 94, passed away at 11:15 AM Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Vista Center.



Born August 9, 1918 in Lisbon, she was a daughter of the late Osborne Furney and Goldie Martha (Harris) Millhorn.



She worked as a secretary at the Columbiana County Soldiers and Sailors Office, retiring in 1982. She had also worked at Hamilton's Drug Store for many years as well as the former TB Clinic.



She was a member of Lisbon First United Methodist Church and had been a member of Rebekah Lodge in Columbiana for more than thirty years. She was a past member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries.



Survivors include her sons Larry E. (Darlene) Brown and Jerry Brown, both of Columbiana; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.



Her husband, John Wesley Brown, whom she married in 1938, died n 1982. Also deceased are her brothers Donald and William Millhorn and sisters Dorothy Jerome and Marian Rudibaugh.



There will be a funeral at noon Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Pam Gable officiating. Calling hours are from 10:00 AM until the time of service Saturday.
