Salem -Gladys Naomi Gilmore, 84, formerly of Lisbon, died at 8:00 AM Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Salem Community Hospital.
Born June 11, 1928 in Wilmerding, PA, she was a daughter of the late Emanuel Clark and Lula Mae (Evans) Allshouse.
A homemaker, she was a former member of the Southern Hills Church of Christ.
Survivors include her children Patricia (Steven) Crowl of Lisbon, Eugene E. Allshouse of Wilmerding, PA, and Gary L Richards of Ennon Valley, PA; a sister Violet Bittner of Grindstone, PA; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles Atlas Gilmore, Sr., whom she married in1973 died in 1992. Also deceased are her sisters Grace Veazzey, Laura Mallory, Henrietta Mae Heindrich, and Marian Gesman; brothers Henry, Jackson, and Warren Allshouse; and a great-great-granddaughter.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Brown officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Clarington, Ohio.
