Lisbon-Goldie Louise Thomas, 80, passed away at 3:41 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Pleasant View North Retirement Center in Damascus.
Born January 21, 1931 in Rogers, she was a daughter of the late Edward T. Baker and Elsie E. (Crawford) Riggle.
She attended Lisbon David Anderson High School and Ohio Valley Business College and was an education major at Kent State University where she also studied art.
Survivors include her children Cathy (Fred) Brownfield, William (Deborah) Thomas, and Richard (Dawn) Thomas all of Lisbon; a brother Dale Baker of Lisbon; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William M. Thomas in 2009. Also deceased are a sister Grace Allison, and brothers Glenn and Ira Baker.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with Mr. Thomas Derby officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
