Columbiana - Helen Katheryn Bowman,97, formerly of Lisbon, died at 12:30 AM Monday, September 19, 2011 at Parkside Health Care Center.
Born August 20, 1914 in Lisbon, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Pearl (Armstrong) Stockman.
Mrs. Bowman worked as a secretary for the Carl Company, retiring in 1974. She also owned the Warren News Stand.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and AARP of Columbiana County.
Survivors include her sons Roger D. Warren of Palm Beach, FL and Donald F. Warren of Columbiana; 3 grandchildren: Roger Warren, Connie Schmidt, and Melissa Gebhardt; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in 1978 by her first husband Wilbur Warren whom she married in 1942. Her second husband Earl Bowman died in 1982. Also deceased are a sister Ethel Welling; and brothers Ross and Russell Stockman.
Services will be held at noon Friday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Sinclair officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed one hour prior to the service.
