Rogers -Jack E. Artrup, 43, died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
Jack was born August 24, 1970 in Salem, Ohio to the late Jack E. and Dorkis Mae (Mellott) Artrup.
A mechanic, he owned and operated his own garage.
Jack was a 1989 graduate of Beaver Local High School and attended God's Haven of Rest Church in East Palestine. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons and dirt bikes.
Survivors include his companion Shanda Mellinger of Lisbon; siblings Wilma Dean Redman of East Liverpool, William H. Crawford of East Palestine, Carol Sue Schmidt of East Liverpool, Teresa Ann Campbell of Bangor, MI, Clara Sue Gregory of West Virginia, William Joseph Artrup of Detroit, MI, and Michael James Crawford of Lisbon.
He was preceded in death by his son Jack Everett Artrup and brothers Rex Crawford and Robert and James Artrup.
There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dyer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in East Carmel Cemetery.
