Salineville -James Kelly Miller, Sr., 49, of Alderlick Road was pronounced dead at 6:42 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born June 9, 1959 in Sewickley, PA, he was a son of John Lee and Charolette Ann (Kelly) Miller.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the transportation department at Horsehead Corporation in Monaca, PA.
A veteran of the Air National Guard, he was a lifetime member of the Percheron Association of America, a member of the Columbiana County Farm Bureau, and an honorary member of Southern Local FFA.
Besides his parents of Aliquippa, PA, survivors include his wife, the former Christine S. Siegel, whom he married February 25, 1984; three children: Shanna Marie Miller, James Kelly Miller, Jr., and Hugh Allen Miller all of Salineville; brothers John (Charolette) Miller, Joe ( Bonnie)Miller, and Jerry Miller all of Clinton, PA; sisters Jill (Max) Beckman of Hammondsville, and Jan Sculac of New Jersey; and an uncle, Glenn Kelly of Columbiana.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Weber Funeral Home n Lisbon with the Rev. Ted Ludwig officiating.
