Jim was born February 17, 1931 in North Strabane, PA, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Graytok) Pahanish.
He had worked as a machinist most of his life and farmed as well.
A Navy Veteran, he was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Irene ( Davner) Pahanish; his children James (Kathy) Pahanish of Lisbon, Matthew (Rhonda) Pahanish , Ron (Paula) Pahanish and Deana (Jim) Warneke all of Leetonia; as well as brothers Charles (Josephine) Pahanish of Arlington, TX, and Michael (Linda) Pahanish of Leetonia; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers William, Edmund, and Joseph Pahanish as well as a sister Barbara Hall.
A private family service was held at Weber Funeral Home.
