Lisbon - Karle C. Peterson, 81, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning October 30, 2017 at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born June 12, 1936 in Lisbon, he was a son of the late Robert A. and Mabel J. (McDevitt) Peterson.
He worked at NRM for 32 years and at National Feed Screw in Massillon for 4 years, as well as 8 years at Mitsibishi.
A faithful Christian, he was a member of the Lisbon First Christian Church. He enjoyed music and sang in both the church choir and a barber shop quartet with the Salem Jubilee Chorus, and he was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children Pam (Dave) McEwen of Virginia Beach, VA, Karle Eric Peterson, and Marcy (Bruce) Carman both of Lisbon; his grandchildren Karle, Shaina, Miranda, Chelsea, Alex, Dave, and Hunter; and great-grandchildren Cayden, Nola, William, Alta, Finley, and baby Groot on the way as well as his brother John
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jane (White) Peterson in 2007 as well as his brothers Ronald, Robert.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Ref. Douglass Shoaff officiating. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00PM Thursday.
