Lisbon -Lawrence (Larry) M. Reynolds, 53, of East Lincoln Way went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 3:30 PM at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Born May 19, 1956 in Salem, he was a son of Richard David Reynolds and the late Phyllis Louise (Weidenhof) Reynolds.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator/mechanic for Total Waste Logistics in Girard and previously for Buckeye Industrial Mining.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where he was a lay reader, Eucharistic minister, and Junior Warden in the Vestry. A 1974 graduate of United Local High School, Larry enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
Beside his father of Lisbon, survivors include his wife, the former Linda D. Shoop, whom he married October 11, 1997; 2 children: Shirley A. Adkins, and Stephen D. (Rhonda) Reynolds both of Reidsville, GA; step-children Charles L. Bailey of Canton, Valerie (Justin Duffy) Price of Lisbon, and Catherine Price off Canal Winchester; a sister, Susan L. (Steve) DeFilippo of Lisbon; brothers David R. (Oriana) Reynolds Leetonia and Eric A. (Betty) Reynolds of Wyalusing, PA; 13 grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Salem First Friends Church with Pastor John Pierce and the Rev. Fayette Grose officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Youngstown Inter Group, 4409 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44515 or to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 310 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon, OH 44432.
