Lisbon - Louis R. Myers, 68, died following a brief illness at Caprice Healthcare Center Friday, October 10, 2014.
Lou was born September 23, 1946 in Greenford, PA to the late Jacob K. and Ann M. (Harhager) Myers.
He worked as a machinist his entire career, the last 26 at Fairfield Machine in Columbiana.
He was a 1964 graduate of Salem High School, a member of the NRA, enjoyed NASCAR, computers, and photography. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his abilities as a machinist not to mention his stubbornness.
Lou was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, the former Rebecca Ann Pettigrew; 3 children: Warren H. (Dawn) Garwood of Lisbon, Lisa D. Garwood of MO, Ann M. (Craig) Bischak of Sewickley, PA; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Alice Bezeredi and his brother Bill Myers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home.
