Mary Louise Lutz

January 3, 1922 — March 5, 2009

Lisbon - Mary Louise Lutz, 87, formerly of High Street, passed away at 7:20 a.m.

Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Vista Centre.



She was born January 3, 1922 in East Liverpool to the late Elmer A. and Mary E. (Moore)

Tullis.



A 1939 graduate of David Anderson High School, Mary was a homemaker and at one

time worked at Golden Star Dairy.



She was a member of F.O.E. #2216 Ladies Auxiliary, a past member of VFW Auxiliary

#4411, and portrayed Johnny Appleseed's sister Elizabeth during the Johnny Appleseed

Festival for a number of years.



She was preceded in death in 1952 by her first husband Donald G. Snyder. Her second

husband, Frederic R. Lutz, whom she married in 1955 passed away in 2007. Also

deceased are a daughter Cheryl A. Mellon and a son Thomas G. Lutz.



She is survived by her children Larry G. Lutz of Spokane, WA and Willard R. (Linda)

Lutz of Leetonia; her grandchildren Michael, Mark, Dean, Jeremiah and Arra Lutz;

Rachel Conners and Jason and Melissa Mellon; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with the

Rev. Kari Lankford of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Leetonia officiating. Burial will be in

Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 Sunday at the funeral home.



The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's

choice.
