East Rochester- Matthew Dean Flugan, 38, died in a tragic accident Saturday evening August 28, 2010 on Speidel Road near his home.
Born August 24, 1972 in Salem, OH, he was a son of Ralph and Kathryn "Kitty" (Heddy) Flugan.
He had worked as a self-employed carpet installer.
A graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to his mother and father, both of Lisbon, survivors include his sister Lisa Dawn (Tim) Stewart of Mt. Sterling, OH; 2 step-brothers Brian and Jesse Flugan both of Lisbon; and his girlfriend Sara Wutrick of East Rochester .
He was preceded in death by Brothers Eric and Thomas Flugan.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Sinclair, officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
