Lisbon -Matthew Dennis (Pep) Preteroti, 32, passed away at the Vista Center with his family at his side at 12:45 AM Sunday, July 10, 2011 from injuries sustained in an auto accident January 5, 2010.
Born May 20, 1979 in Salem, he was a son of Mark J. and Nancy A. (Mountz)( Preteroti.
He had worked as an asbestos removal worker.
A member of St. George Catholic Church, he attended Lisbon David Anderson High School and the Columbiana County Career Center. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his favorite love was racing his four-wheeler.
In addition to his parents of Lisbon, he is survived by his brother and best friend Andrew Preteroti of Lisbon; his girlfriend Brittny Woodrick of Lisbon; aunts Bonnie (Roger) Vulcan and Robin Cain; uncles Bob and Jim Mountz; cousins Christopher, Joshua, Robert, and Raea Mountz and Cole Vulcan; his roommate and buddy Ron Glover; and his beloved dog Macy
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. George Catholic Church with the Rev. James Lang, officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home.
