Lisbon -Mildred Eileen Hussar, 97, passed away early Sunday morning at Salem Community Hospital.
Born October 11, 1913 in Malvern, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Anna E. (Horner) Barnhart.
She had worked as a secretary for C and W Mining, ABC Coal Co., Kannal Coal Co., and Harriet Trucking Co. for more than 35 years.
A 1931 graduate of David Anderson High School, she had attended the First Christian Church. She was a charter and life member of V.F.W. Post 4111 Ladies Auxiliary and served as its treasurer for ten years.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by her children L. Richard (Nora) Hussar of Salem, Elizabeth A. (Ralph) Williams of Yucaipa, CA, Dorothy M. (David) Hall of Canfield, and Joyce E. Hillberry of Lisbon. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren: Linda Lutz, Richard L. Hussar, Kimberly Fink, Kathy Kelecava, Michelle Hall, Michael Hall, Leslie Hudock, Christopher Hall, Dianne Martinez, Vickie Ireton, Steven Williams, Michael Ours, and Kevin Ours. In addition, there are 32 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Two sisters Helen Foster and Clara Baker are deceased.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Weber funeral home with minister Jason Pancake officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral Home.
