Mildred Margaret Ieropoli

Lisbon -Mildred Margaret Ieropoli, 92, passed away at 1:05 PM Friday, July 24, 2013 at the Vista Center.

Born September 10, 1929 in Savannah, GA, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Sylvester (Pagett) Mobley.

She worked at St. George Catholic Church for many years as well as at Buckeye Beverage.

A member of St. George Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, she was also a charter member of V.F.W. Post 4111 Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 2216 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling with her friends, and especially spending time with her family. She will be remembered for kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity to all.

She made every occasion a special occasion and will be dearly missed by her thee children Mary Ann Bacon of Hanoverton, Valli Ieropoli and Nick Ieropoli both of Lisbon; five grandchildren: Michael Dutton, Rebecca and Allan Joseph , and Jesse Ieropoli as well as two great-grandchildren, Carmen and Caden.

Her husband Carmen, whom she married in 1945, died in 1977. Also de ceased are sisters Ellen Cassidy and Gloria MacMillan and a brother Benjamin Mobley.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Robert Edwards. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
