Lisbon - Paul K. (Pete) Stewart, 72, died Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born March 11, 1942 in Chester, WV, he was a son of the late Syres and Eva (Michaels) Stewart.
A bricklayer by trade, he worked out of Union Local 9 in New Brighton, PA for many years until retiring in 1997.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Lisbon Lions Club, V.F.W. Post 4111 in Lisbon, and the American Legion in Glenmore.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda (Malmsberry) Stewart, whom he married January 14, 2000; two children:  Paula (Thomas) Poynter  and Paul K. Stewart, Jr., both of Lisbon; sisters Carol Nussser of Hookstown, PA, Doris (Peg) Johnson of Rogers, Joyce Green of Lisbon, and Pat Stewart of East Sparta, OH; and a brother Hugh (Skip) Stewart of Tennessee as well as his loving dog Wilma.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy (Anderson) Stewart, sisters Betty Allison and Hazel Torrence, and a brother, Roy (Bud) Stewart.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Ludwig officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Salineville American Legion will be in Bethel Church Cemetery. Visitation is 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
