Lisbon -The matriarch of her family, Pauline (Polly) B. Myers Grindle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:38 PM. She was 79.
Born November 29, 1929 in Paden City, WV, she was a daughter of the late Perry Fulmer and Lucille (Tenley) Fulmer-Deane.
She worked at Salem Hospital then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked in various casinos. Upon returning to Lisbon, she finished her career at the Tobin Center.

She was the loving, caring, and understanding mother of Sharon (Allen) Nennig of East Canton, Ruth Ann (Rick) Miller of Lisbon, and Debbie (Craig) Smith of Salem. She is also survived by Carl Andric with whom she lived for several years. She was a loving sister to Phyllis Nelson and Ronnie Rummell both of East Liverpool. There are also nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands John S. Myers and James R. Grindle, her son John W. (Billy) Myers, her brother Gene Fulmer and sister Lora Lee Rummell, grandchildren Allen and Jorj Nennig, and great-grandchildren Chloe Coleman and David Utt.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Pam Gable officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
