Lisbon - Ralph E. Burton, 77, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Hospice House.
Born January 13, 1937 in Wellsville, he was a son of the late Harry V. and Clara I. (Amman) Burton.
He had worked as a machinist for many years at NRM Corp. and retired from Mahoning Valley Manufacturing.
A U.S. Navy Veteran and 1955 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, he was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his six children: Ralph (Teresa) Burton, Jr. of Lisbon, Peggy (Thomas) Altenhof of East Rochester, Judy (Michael) Spencer of Lisbon, Bill (Angela) Burton of Hanoverton, John (Heather) Burton, and Maggie Burton both of Lisbon, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren as well as his siblings: Betty Cline of East Liverpool, Harry Burton of Shelby Township, MI, and Barbara Howard of Salem.
He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Fitch and a brother Kenneth Burton.
There will be a funeral at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
