Lisbon- Richard H. Lewis, 67, passed away at 11:37 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Born June 8, 1949 in Salem, he was the son of the late Mabel (Lewis) Dickey.
He was a 1968 graduate of David Anderson High School.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed riding motorcycles. His family attends Believer’s Christian Fellowship of Salem.
He was a fitter welder for many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his wife Karen L. (Hill) Lewis whom he married March 4, 1972 and his daughters Michelle (William) Long of Salem and Sara Lewis of Lisbon. There are two grandchildren, William Long, III and Brandon Long as well as his brother Larry (Elsie) Dickey of Lisbon.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Jacob Long and a sister, Linda (Lewis) Miles.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
