Salem Township -Richard M. Ludwig, 56, died Tuesday morning January 20, 2009
at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.
Ric was born in Salem to the late Simon and Rose Valerie (Stengel) Ludwig.
He had worked as a marketing manager for the Ferro Corporation in Sebring and
later became a principle in Refractory Specialties, Inc. and Specialty Ceramics, Inc.
A graduate of United Local High School and Kent State University, Ric loved his
family, friends, and animals. He was an avid outdorsman and was a big Pittsburgh
Steelers fan.
Survivors include his wife of ten years, Linda J. Ludwig; his son, Jonathon D.
Ludwig; and two sisters, Rose Marie Sandoval of Alliance and Sally (David) Rice of
Salem.
A sister, Linda Weber, and a brother, Ronald Ludwig, are deceased.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with the
Rev. JoAnn Dota officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Square Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
