Lisbon -Robert Ralph Flory, 77, of Cusick Road died early Saturday morning, April 4, 2009 at his home.
Born June 23, 1931 in Lisbon, he was the son of the late Ralph and Francis (Shoaff) Flory.
He had worked at NRM for more than ten years and previously at Industrial Mining.
He was a member of Lisbon Community Church and F.O.E. Aerie 2216, and was a past member of VFW Post 4111, the Leetonia American Legion, and the Leetonia O.S.I.
Survivors include his wife, the former Judith Driscoll, whom he married July 10, 1971; 4 daughters: Shirley Thornhill of Lisbon, Betty (Bill) Pancake of Negley, Sandy (Craig) Pemberton of Columbus, and Shelly English of East Liverpool; 4 sisters: Janet Collins of California, Mary Porazzo of Columbiana, Dorothy Confer of Salem, and Hazel Scott of Youngstown; nine grandchildren including Jared Robert Lawrence whom he helped raise, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Billy and Jack Flory, are deceased.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Radman officiating. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. The family will gather at the Lisbon Community Church following the funeral service. Calling hours will be observed from 6 to 8 PM today at the funeral home.
