Lisbon -Robert Dean Narehood, Sr., 72, passed away at 10:10 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at his home.
Born October 27, 1939 in McVeytown, PA, he was a son of the late Reed Franklin and Ruth A. (Treaster) Narehood.
He worked as a pipe fitter for union Local 669 for 35 years, retiring in 1999.
Bob enjoyed his pontoon boat, hunting, remodeling his house, and restoring antique cars. He was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his wife Hattie C. (Matthews) Narehood whom he married January 9, 1993; sons Robert (Bonnie) Narehood, Jr. of Kirtland and Randy J. Narehood of Salem; a daughter Ronda J. Narehood of East Palestine; step-children Hilda Campbell, Tabatha Poplett, and Vern Poplett, all of Alliance and Joel Poplett of Struthers; grandchildren: Rob, Ethan, and Chyanne Narehood; Shawnee Rohr; Hope, Adam, and Kylee Campbell; John, Jr. and Matthew Vaughn, Ashley Pollock, and Juanita Poplett; and a great-granddaughter Alliyah Vaughn; sisters Isabel Kirby of Harrisburg, PA and Ethel Baker Lewistown, PA; and step-sisters Blanche and Naomi Narehood.
He was preceded in death by twin sons Timmy and Tommy; brothers Paul, Blain, and John Narehood and Glenn Treaster as well as two sisters Pearl Glasgow and Helen McGinley.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home. Friends may visit 11:00 AM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
