Roland L. Ridgley

Lisbon -           Roland “Ron” L. Ridgley, 74, passed away following a lengthy illness Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Born December 27, 1943 in Madison Township, he was a son of the late Ray W. and Lucy L. (Dawson) Ridgley.

A proud veteran of both the Army and the Navy, Ron served in Vietnam and retired with more than 18 years of service. He then worked at the Navy Exchange Service Command in Virginia for 16 years.

He was a member of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife Maxine Lou (Chuck) Ridgley; a daughter, Michelle L. Ridgley of Lisbon; his sisters Rosie Cantwell of Salem and Marlene Ridgley of Calcutta as well as his brothers Russell and Jimmy Ridgley both of Lisbon, Gary Ridgley of Rogers, and Mike Ridgley of Salem.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Brown officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
