Lisbon -Rosemary D. Reynolds, 70, of St. Jacobs-Logtown Road passed away at home following a long illness Friday, April 5, 2013.
Born April 28, 1942 in Nashville, TN to the late Anthony N. and Gayle M. (Kettering) LaNave.
She worked as an assembler at Warren Molded Plastics for many years and as a waitress at Petrucci's Restaurant on the weekends.
A graduate of the Hanna Mullins School of Nursing, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother and was known for portraying Johnny Appleseed's sister at the Johnny Appleseed Festival for many years.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Bernard (Sonny) Earl Reynolds whom she married December 31, 1990; two children Patricia (James) Steeves of Hanoverton, and Charles (Sandy) Slocum of East Palestine; step-children Martha Jean Roloff of Cleveland and Bonnie (Vern) Hope Johns of Columbiana.
She is also survived by seven siblings: Richard LaNave of Arizona, Patrick LaNave of Washington, Mona Fend of Washington, David La Nave of Alliance, Anthony (Hoppy) LaNave, Jr. of Alliance, Christina Rice of Canton, and Robert LaNave of Alliance; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as 18 nieces and nephews.
Her sisters Linda Kerr and Mary Gayle LaNave are deceased.
The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Herbert DeLong. Visitation is 5 PM to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
