Lisbon -Ruth Ann Miller, 62, passed away at home following a lengthy illness at 8:45 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2010.
Born February 20, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John Samuel Myers and Pauline Beatrice (Fulmer) Grindle.
A homemaker, she was a graduate of Salem High School, a member of F.O.E. Aerie 2216 Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post 4111 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a charter member of the Honey 'B's'. She was known to be a great cook.
Ruth was a loving wife to Richard L. Miller, whom she married January 5, 1980. She is also survived by and will be sadly missed by her children Scott D. (Kelly) Peterson of Minerva, John R. (Tammy) Peterson of East Palestine, Lori (Chris) Coleman of Warsaw,OH, and Molly Wolfe of Lisbon; sisters Sharon (Allen) Nennig of East Canton and Debbie (Craig) Smith of Salem; step-sons Todd and Jeff Miller, both of Florida; 9 grandchildren: Skyler Peterson, Daniel McNemar, Jr., Zachary Peterson, Dalton Palmer, Carlee Palmer, Christopher and Cody Coleman, Tyler Wolfe, and Paige Harris as well as 4 step-grandchildren and daughters from another mother Heather Houlette and Becky Mollenkopf
She was preceded in death by a brother Billy Myers and granddaughter Chloe Ann Coleman.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. JoAnne Dota officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
