Rogers -Shirley G. Kearns, 62, passed away at 11:15 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
Born March 15, 1948 in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of Pearl (Howard) Reed and the late Lewis Robert Reed.
She was a homemaker.
She was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to raising her children, step-children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
In addition to her mother of Salem, she is survived by her husband John Kearns, Sr. whom she married May 22, 1982; her children: Kimberly Sue Geiman of Chicago, Melissa (Jake) Anderson of Lisbon, Melina (Michael) Bennett of Mentor, Heather (Roy) Durr of Wampum, PA, and John Kearns, Jr.; sister Connie (John) Lutsch of Salem; two nieces and a nephew; a great-niece; and 15 grandchildren.
A son, Frederick L. Clair, II, is deceased.
The funeral service will be at 11 AM Saturday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Wright of the Rogers Assembly of God officiating. Friends may call 5 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
