Lisbon - Shirley Ann Miller, 78, formerly of South Lincoln Avenue, died at 7:05 AM Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Essex of Salem III.
Born July 12, 1934 in Elkton, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Kenneth and Margaret Louise (Beadle) McMillan.
She was a homemaker.
A 1952 graduate of Leetonia High School, she was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, F.O.E. Aerie 2216 Auxiliary and played piano in a number of area bands including W.P.M.M. Country.
She will be missed by her children Sandra A. Conn of Lisbon, Scott (Cindy) Miller of Minerva, Mark (Pam) Miller, and Amy (Brad) Poynter both of Lisbon; her sister Kay McMillan and brother Lee (Kathy) McMillan both of Lisbon; grandchildren Laura Beth Mercina, Maggie Burton, Hayden Miller, Donnie and Samantha Miller, Matt Baker, Michael and Jacob Poynter; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Her husband Donald I. Miller, whom she married December 5, 1952, died May 27, 1999.
The service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home.
