Lisbon - Shirley M. Thomas, 79, passed away at 11:17 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born September 11, 1935 in Salem, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Myrtle (Holderreed) Harsh.
A graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, she was a homemaker who served as a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a member of St. George Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Terry Thomas and her sister Betty Albright, both of Lisbon, four grandchildren: Dustin Lato and Ty, Terryn, and Hailey Thomas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons Larry and Gary Thomas and a sister Donna Hanna.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Weber Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
