West Point- Stephanie M. Plunkett, 91, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 16, 1016 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.
Born September 1, 1924 in West Point, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Tursic) Taucher.
A homemaker, she was a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School. She was a member the First United Methodist Church of Lisbon, SNPJ, and T.O.P.S. She enjoyed gardening, word searches, and baking. Her greatest joy was being a devoted mother and grandmother to not only her own children, but also to those who lived nearby.
Survivors include her children James (Sandra) Plunkett of Coral Springs, FL, Linda Plunkett of Lisbon, and Richard Plunkett of West Point; a sister, Dorothy Hales of Toledo; grandchildren Christine Palumbo, Vicki Plunkett, Scott Plunkett, and Erin Rocheleau as well as great-grandchildren McKenzie, Owen, Peyton, and twins Addison and Anthony.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 1991 and her daughter Cindy Wagers
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Calling hours are 6 :00 PM to 9:00 PM tonight at the funeral home.
