It was unexpected, but Tabatha Lynn Fischer, of Hanoverton, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday at her home.
She was born May 23, 1970 in Salem, the daughter of Joseph E. and Ruth E. (Beaver) Horner.
She was a homemaker.
She was a 1988 graduate of Southern Local High School and attended Akron University. She was a member of True North Church in Minerva and a past member of the Square Wheels Square Dancing Club. She enjoyed contemporary Christian music and watching her favorite television shows with her family. Above all, taking care of her family was the most important thing in her life.
In addition to her parents of Hanoverton, she is survived by her husband, Ted Fischer, who she married June 1, 1989, her daughter Erin (JonDavid) Hoyt of Lisbon, granddaughters Valarie Fischer and Leslie Hoyt as well as her brother Christopher M. Calhoun of Toronto, and sisters Angela P. (Don) Ring of Sebring, and Jessica Evancho of Chakacha, OK. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Pauline Beaver.
The funeral service will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Kidd officiating. Calling hours are from 3:00 until the time of service Wednesday. A private burial will take place Thursday at Riverview Cemetery.
