Lisbon - Tony James Pezzano, 78, passed away at his home early Monday, September 15, 2014 at his home with his family at his side.
Tony was born June 28, 1936 in Lisbon, a son of the late James A. and Elizabeth Anne (Barbara) Pezzano.
He had worked at Freshmark as a lead man for 25 years. Prior to that, he worked at McCune Radiator for 27 years.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School. He was a loyal supporter of all Lisbon Blue Devil sports for many years. He was always proud of his children and grandchildren. His strong, quiet presence was a constant source of strength for his family and will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his wife Lou (Andric) Pezzano whom he married June 26, 1964; his children Bill (Annie) Pezzano of Aiken, SC, Bennay (Donnie)Carman of Salineville, Mark (Connie) Pezzano and Beth (Rod ) Stewart both of Lisbon; his grandchildren Allyson and Todd Carman, and Kenadee and Karlee Pezzano ; his siblings Bruno Pezzano, Anne Brookes, Frank (Judy) Pezzano, Jim (Mary) Pezzano, and Mary (Louie) Cavaro as well as his in-laws Marty Lutch and Judy Pezzano and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Josie Lutch and a brother, Joe Pezzano.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Cindy Carlisle officiating. Calling hours are 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
